"Get Wet - Ride a Ripboard!"

While photographing Seth and Krystal's wedding last weekend we met and had breakfast with Seth's Brother Shane and his wife Jean. While talking with them we found out that Shane owns Ripboard Inc. in Denver Co. He brought the sport to the US after spending some time in New Zealand where they call it Sledging. They have been featured in magazines including Blue and Paddler and newspapers nationwide.(That's Shane and Jean on the left)

You have to checkout their website to get a feel for what this sport is. I can tell you that after talking with Shane about it, I want to do it. Shane and Jean invited us to hit the rivers with them sometime this summer and we're looking forward to the experience (Erin's a little nervous).

Apart from all this, Shane and Jean are just a fun couple and I have no doubts that if any of you were to do this, you'll be treated right and have a great time.
