Update: My Birthday Gift From Shane

Update: Images of my new piano in addition to the video below :)

What an amazing b-day surprise!

yes, I was confused :)

Also, for those of you who have been asking to see pics of our new place, this is part of our main floor and entryway. I am so happy with the way the colors and flooring turned out! Still waiting for some of our furniture, but we haven't forgotten to share and we'll post more as the rooms are finished :)

::end update::

So this is going to be short, but I wanted to share with you what Shane gave me for my birthday. It was one of the most thoughtful gifts and totally made me cry. He had been coordinating this delivery and purchase months prior to today and somehow got it all done during my lunch out with a friend. Shane said the owner of the music store was amazing to work with because when Shane told him that he wasn't sure how to buy it without me knowing, the owner said, "pay me when I deliver it". How awesome is that?

Read the post 3 times and I still don't know what you got for a present (except it came from the music store)

Absolutely GOODTIMES! :)

@erebus, the video explains, but incase you aren't able to see it, Shane bought me a baby grand.

One of the things that makes this so thoughtful is that Shane remembered the serial number from a piano I played in another city while killing time back in January, called the store and bought that specific piano. He put so much thought into the gift, it still amazes me :)

I used to have a piano but couldn't bring it with me when I moved from North Carolina years ago. The gift of having a piano in my home means so much to me.
