We spent this last weekend through Tuesday at the Heartland of America Conference. We really enjoyed listening to the guest speakers and hanging out with our friends and fellow photographers. One of the speaker for the conference was David Jay. I had heard him before, but am always impressed the knowledge he has to share. On the last day of the conference, we went out with DJ and a few friends for dinner. It was also my birthday and Shane treated us all to ice cream after dinner (he's so sweet). Also, I know Shane will not publicize this, but I am so excited for him...he took both second and third place for the overall Conference award in wedding photography. Yeah!

We met at our friend Geoff's studio before going out to dinner and I love his wife Anne, she's so great!
With DJ after a great dinner. I think the food made me just a little sleepy and I didn't make it too long into the car ride home before I was out :)

Oh how fun to meet up with other photographers! I always seem to forget to take a group picture when we do that.

hey guys, I was with DJ today at his showit sites demo in orange county and he showed everybody your little geo widget... he loved it!
i loved showit sites, i think it's going to be revolutionary.
